Das Musikstück ist musikalisch gehaltvoll und nicht gerade einfach anzuhören. Es ist eine deutliche Dramatik drin enthalten und die will ausgehalten sein im Zuhören und der eigenen Seele.
Kann jedoch wie ein Ventilöffner für Tränen sein, die geweint werden wollen!

das -- Agnus Dei -- von Michael W. Smith ist ein schönes Lobpreis-Anbetungslied aus den 1980-Jahren. Stellt das "The Lord God Almighty reigns - Holy, Holy, Holy – Worthy is the Lamb" ins Zentrum.
Das ältere -- Adagio Agnus Dei -- von Barber rückt vocal bzw. rein instrumental das Gewicht der Sünde und den hohen Kaufpreis des Herrn Jesus auf Golgatha (das Lösegeld) in den Vordergrund – so meine Hörwahrnehmung.
